Hi, I’m Madelyn! I usually go by Maddy. I use she/her and they/them pronouns, I am an actor, writer, solo performance artist, yoga instructor, long time vegan, and cat lover. I like to call myself general artistic garbage.

After growing up outside of Denver, I moved around the country before landing in Chicago, where I’ve lived for the past 9 years. I received my MFA in Acting in 2024 from DePaul University where I developed my latest solo show, FLESH, and wrote, produced, and starred in my first short film, Pickle Juice. FLESH had its professional debut with Redtwist Theatre, where I am a proud ensemble member, in the fall of 2024.

When I’m not performing, you can find me riding my blue/green/orange bike around the city, fiending after vegan pastries, and cuddling my kitties Paulie and Peach.

If you’re curious, my last name is pronounced like King Lear.
